Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol Secret Lodge # 4

On this day members from the Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol got together at Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol secret lodge # 4 to discuss Honda Gold Wings and snowmobiles.  Patrolman Orcutt rolled out his immaculate Gold Wing for documentation on this day.  The following photographs were created for posterity.

2008 Husqvarna TE250

So the Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol picked up a used 2008 Husqvarna TE 250 in late 2014.  The Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol does not discriminate when it comes to motorcycles.  In the stable of bikes employed by the Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol, there are bikes represented by England, Italy, Spain, Japan the U.S.A and now Sweden.  Although to be entirely truthful, this particular Husqvarna was made in Italy during the period that Husky was owned by Italian manufacturer Cagiva.

Originally created as an arms manufacturer by order of the King of Sweden in 1689, Husqvarna over the years has branched out into sewing machines, kitchen utensils, bicycles and finally motorcycles in 1903.  Interesting factoid; Husqvarna was purchased by vacuum cleaner manufacturer Electrolux in 1978 and later sold in 2006.

Be sure to check in to see upcoming moose dragging exploits by this machine.

1975 Honda CB750

This 1975 CB750 custom rolled into Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol secret lodge number six back during the winter of 2013.  This particular bike belongs to Adam Marsden, a famous Canadian director of photography based out of Toronto.   This bike was pulled out of the rhubarb and then it was lowered and cleaned up a bit and we dicked around with the carbs and electrical too.  If there is one thing that the Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol is famous for its making moose sausage and building cool moose dragging motorcycles.  The Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol just found these photos on an old camera that was lying around and that is why we haven't posted these photos previously.

Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol Secret Lodge Number 6

Only a handful of Canadian citizens are aware of the diversity and extent of the secret lodge system employed by the Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol.  On this date certain members of the Patrol came together to discuss modifications being made to a couple of Harley Davidson motorcycles.  The following photographs were produced at that time.

The Glory Days of British Motorbikes

Its January.  Not a single moose in sight.  Not much to do other than watch this great little video about the way things used to be.  Enjoy.

The Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol at the Canadian Motorcycle Supershow

Recently the Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol attended the annual Canadian Motorcycle Supershow at the International Centre in Toronto.  The following photographs were produced at that time.

The Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol is impressed with the new Indian Scout.  This bike pretty much makes the Harley Davidson Sportster a redundant machine now.

Pricing for the new Scout seems quite reasonable.  Apparently pricing for the bike has gone up with the recent decline in the Canadian dollar.

Interesting details on the Scout engine.

The Royal Canadian Motorcycle Patrol were quite impressed with this Honda adventure custom for the price.

Lots of cool little details to admire on this bike.

Pretty decent Michelin tires too.

Bloody cheap

An excellent example of the sum of the parts being more than the actual purchase price.  Did we mention this bike has a Leo Vince exhaust?

Lovely 1905 Indian Camel Back

The oldest motorcycle at the show.  This fully operational bike still rides on its original rims.  Amazing.

Lovely, old BSA.

Lovely lines.

So many interesting details on this BSA.
